We had our inspection last week. Unfortunately they found some termite damage in Maddie's room. We had the guy out to spray and hopefully all taken care of. We need to have the structural damage assessed hoping its not too much. The good part is the buyer was here for the inspection all day...he stuck around even after the termites were found so we are considering that a good thing!! They also put in their binder payment...so some money to back up the commitment. We are waiting to hear from the buyers as to what we have to fix and what they are going to deal with. Tomorrow we also have our appraisal inspection by the FHA guy. That will be good so we know what the final selling price will be. We also got a request so they can start putting together the closing documents. Seems like things are continuing to move forward!!
Mike and I are working to figure out where we are going to move to while the house is being built, where we will get our mail, how we are going to move our stuff, etc. It's all very exciting we are trying to enjoy it all.
If things continue as they have been, we will be telling D.R. Horton to go this week! We are getting excited for the design studio and picking all of our finishes. Starting to do some research and kitchens so hopefully we are on the same page.
Getting closer to making this real!!
