Ready for our first house guests!!!

It has been a busy week since we moved in!! The house is beginning to feel more like home although besides a lazy Sunday morning reading the paper we have not spent much time breaking in the new sofas. We had movers bring the furniture and last few boxes last Saturday. The guys did a great job getting everything moved in 3 hrs 59 mins of our 4 hour groupon.

I have unpacked 90% of the boxes. We got the washer and dryer hooked up after a few failed attempts. There is new patio furniture set up outside to enjoy on a nice day. We also got the grill going and tested it out the other night. M also changed out the pendants to prettier glass fixtures and shortened them.

M has a busy weekend ahead with the cable company and lawn treatment service coming. He also has ceiling fans and carriage lights to install. I am taking guesses that he might be shopping for a tv too.

Mom and Jill get in tonight and will be here for a weekend of shopping and decorating. I have my lists ready for them and hope they are ready to get started.
